this is a bit off topic but still i think i should mention it, i came back from an awesome sunday drive top down through downtown miami. on my way i saw a bmw Z4, what looked like a ford GT i think it was the modern ones, a convertible porsche 911 turbo, but the woman driving it was top up talking on the phone was probably an automatic too lol. i love driving the S on sundays when theres nothing to do. ohh yeahh and on the way home at a stop light a semi riced 2004? 2 door honda civic in red pulls up next to me, couple guys driving and a girl in the back i looked over the girl was smiling at me, so i winked at her and laughed a bit prob the most epic sunday drive EVER!!

It definitely changes personality when the sun goes down. I have certain music I ONLY listen to when I'm driving at night. "Here in My Room" by Incubus (Both Album and Instrumental Version) is one of my favorites.

Most of my top down driving is at night, or at least on overcast days. Sunny and 90 degrees is not top down weather to me... too much sweat and sun in the eyes (don't like wearing hats).

It's even fun to be a passenger in a convertible at night. Tilt your head back and look up at the sky... sort of feels like your gliding through the air in a super relaxed state.

I also love driving the S top down at night. It makes for a very romantic ending to a date.

I too am guilty of top down cruising at night. I like to get lost and see what I can find near where I live. Last time I found some awesome and somewhat twisty roads (for S. FL anyway) which I'm sure I'll hit again.

Best feeling EVER! Driving top down at night and just cruising. Definitely a very relaxing time. Over 4 years of ownership and this will never get old for me.

Top down night driving with the S2k is truly one of the great joys of owning one. If you turn the heater up on top-down mode it does a great job of making you feel pretty warm, regardless of the temperature. Of course, it's best on warm summer nights. It's very calming, as others have said. It's nice having open roads at night, the S2k headlights are great, the gauge cluster looks cool at night, and the dark sky above is pretty amazing. It's actually been too long since I've done this. I need to give it a go again.

Star gazing with your top down is really relaxing. Something about you, the car, and the sky really make you smile and forgot what was pissing you off at the moment. I'm telling you the car has magical powers.

I totally agree with you I make a lot of unnecessary trips to store just so I can drive my car and when I get there I don't even go into the store just turn around and drive home.
