I placed my order back on the 25th of July for my stickers and a console cover. I received my stickers a week or so ago. On August 6th, I received an email from (J Mullins) stating that my order was shipped on August 1st and "should arrive in four to seven working days." Well It's been weeks now and no console cover. I left a message on their contact # w/ my order # and phone # and a request for a tracking # plus a call back but there was no response. Their phone # just says "You've reached 914.213.1403. Please leave a message". What kind of business message is that? How do I know if I'm even reaching the right people? So I left ANOTHER message this morning and I'm hoping for a reply this time. Where is their customer service??

This is upsetting after hearing all the good things about Rick and his items he sells. I have a car show to put my S2K in on Sept. 1 and I'm running out of time. Thats why I ordered it back in JULY!

Ozy,

Sorry you're having problems. The console covers are shipped via FedEx Ground, which I am sorry to say, is a franchise operation with local shippers and not up to the speed or quality of normal FedEx delivery. Shipment sometimes take more than a week, and frankly FedEx Ground is starting to make the US Post Office look good.

We'll see if we can trace the order. If it doesn't arrive within the next few days, we'll airship a replacement overnight so you have the cover in time for the show.

Please understand, we are not a full time business. James and I both have other careers and are making the S2000 things in our spare time. We're doing our very best, which I know sometimes is not good enough. Please accept our apologies for the delay.

Strange... Rick and crew usually are on this forum. However many people here have "raved" about Rick and his great service.

I just wanted to add that FedEx Ground sucks ass... I've had two packages sent to me using them and both took OVER 2 weeks to reach me from the opposite coast.

I don't know why anyone would use them.

Let me clarify that I do not doubt the quality of Rick's products, but rather I get upset with shipping companies that take longer than normal amounts of time to deliver a product regardless if its coast-to-coast. UPS at their worst takes 7 to 10 days. It has been almost three weeks. Oh well, its the stress of the car show that is getting to me Perhaps a different shipper is in order.

I do appreciate all the products Rick's make regardless if I use them or not. Anyone who is willing to take the time to make specialized items for a single car line and who listens to their audience to see what they want next deserves a in my book.

Thanks a ton guys and keep it going...

Ozy,

Let us assure you that this will get fixed. If we can't trace the shipment, we'll just send a new cover via FedEd air.

I don't know what you guys are doing but it's a pretty well known fact in the shipping industry that:

UPS is much better (reliable) for packages. Generally 5-7 days coast-to-coast. Excellent (accurate) online tracking info. It's usually the shipper causing delays which can be determined by an online track. Heck, you know if your UPS man has your stuff or not!

FED-EX does a better job at handling letter packages for some reason. Online tracking is inferior and not as reliable as UPS.
