Default Starting Issues

Long story guys I've had my s2k for 10yrs and recently had it.refurbed esp backend which was riddled with rust.
Bottom now undersealed back arches replaced,new shock,balljoints,roller bar,performance brakes fitted,alloys refurbished,new tyres & MoT'd.
I do however have an issue once I start it in the morning heading wherever when I stop and then return it won't start , dash lights up but no ignition.
Anyone any advice please ?

I'd check all the battery connections and grounding points. Tight and clean, no paint in between the contacts.

Good luck with the problem!

Good luck! Be sure to tell them of all the body work that has been done. I have a suspicion that the problem may be tied to that.

"Won't start" gives us not a single clue.

Does the starter motor even turn the engine over? It must have the second time since the car started but what about when it didn't start?
That's just one (1) example of what might help us...

nope Chuck everything on dash lights up but nothing when you press the stsrt button,as i posted earlier i think it's heat related in some way as if I leave the car for a bit of time it does fire up first push.

Next time this happens pull the START button from the dash and jumper the contacts and see what happens. If the car starts (unlikely) the switch is bad if not it's down toward the starter solenoid (more likely).
