Default State Farm rate decrease

Just got a notice indicating that my S2k insurance had been decreased due to
Change of vehicle rating group,
Vehicle safety discount changed,
Change of liability rating group,
Multiple line discount increase.

This might be something to check out if you're looking for insurance. Haven't seen many rate decreases so I thought I would pass it on.

Progressive just had one in NM as well. However, rate changes by insurance companies only apply to individual states, so it would help if you posted what state you're from.

I just switched both the s2000 and my winter car to low mileage policies and my rates were cut substantially (about 30%). The low mileage policy through State Farm makes the annual mileage 7500 (on each vehicle) giving me 15000 miles a year to use essentially.

My State Farm rate just went up $20/month due to "cost to repair vehicle". I have been in no accidents and my agent told me it was for all MN S2k owners.

My State Farm rate here in NY went down because of 'claim experience'

Not me. I got a notice that my state farm mutual policy was getting a rate increase. Yeah only like $5-10 but certainly no decrease.
