Default Steering Effort Increased after lowering?

At times, the car needs increased steering effort to keep it tracking straight, alot of times when the road has a crown in it but also other times too (maybe just not noticeable).

Is this just a negative characterstic of lowering springs (Changed suspension geometry) or can it be fixed via alignment settings or new tires. There is a bit of camber wear on my front passenger tire so I think this may be the problem. Im wondering if most of you on a 1" drop have experienced this? is this a common problem?

you need to align the car because it most likely has excessive toe out from the lowering. that is what is causing your "camber" wear, from the toe out tire scrub.

Alright good to know, I guess what I was asking is...can my car feel factory/stock even with it being lowered 1". Will look into getting her aligned and possibly new tires.

I'd like to know this too. I've been considering these springs with stock shocks.

I did not notice any difference when I installed them on my AP2, except the car was lower.

got an alignment seemed to correct things a great deal. road manners improved. however the steering does feel a bit heavy on the highway, and im not sure if this is normal (comparing it to say a 7th gen accord) however when the car is going straight the wheel is a tad crooked so it will be going back as that is one of my pet peeves.

The steering does stiffen at speed, it's a design feature to prevent accidental swerving at 80mph.
