Ok, here is what I found just under the "H" badge.

The badge is held inplace with 3 tabs. These tabs extend under the plasic, and are then hooked under. This makes this badge unremovable, unless you "CUT" these tabs. Once the badge is removed, there are 3 rivets, and a way X, with a o in the center. This is what supports the soft metal on the badge.
