Stick Shift Noob
Well I hate to admit it, but yes I am a manual noob. The only manual car I had before was a 91 NSX. But I'm just wondering if you guys can give some tips on how to launch this car....
I was told was to not be afraid of the accelerator. Before u launch, rev it up a little to get a feel for clutch and accelerator while you're watching the tachometer. It helps to know what the car might do before you do it...or try to do it.
You had an NSX and you couldn't drive it!?
Anyway, just ease the clutch out. When you feel the car start to move forward by itself, give it gas. Eventually you'll learn the exact point of where the clutch disengages and you can give it gas.

If someone only told me that in those exact words when I first learned how to drive a manual, I would of gotten it down so much faster!
