Default stock height rubbing issues?

I was wondering if I had 18" rims with some toyo tires and they were to stick out of the rear fender by say 1-2 inches and I was at stock height, would I rub on the body of the car? Lets say truck has no more than 50 lbs. and the interior will have 2 people with a combined weight of about 400 lbs

I am designing a custom wider rear fender and need this info. Or will i need to cut the body alittle?

thanks
JP

What kind of 18's do you have? What is the offset?

If the offset is too low it will rub.

Yes, the offset and the tires would be a factor with rubbing. If you get the proper offset and a tire that isnt too high profile, you wont have a problem. Numerous people are running 18's on their cars with no problem. It all depends on what you go with.
