Default 18x7.5 +43 offset

Hi everyone,

I have a friend who's selling a set of volks that are 18x7.5 +43 offset. Will this fit a s2000? I am planning on dropping my car too... any help is greatly appreciated!

Assuming all 4 wheels are the same (no stagger), I wouldn't do this. You could possibly fit 205 and 225 tires on those wheels. Any wider and I think you would rub.

I had 16s, 7" wide and 44mm offset with stock sized winter tires. They stuck out from the car just a wee bit and upon severe suspension compression, the tires would touch briefly.
With your 7.5" and 43mm offset and lowering, I think you would see more rubbing during normal driving conditions (bumps and dips in the road) and hard cornering.
Here's a pic of those rims on my car compared to a stock car:

I'm running 18x9 +45 and have no rubbing issues w/ a rolled fender. You're fine

Not everyone wants to go this route.
It's like saying that it's OK to have someone shoot you in the chest with a handgun.

Oh, BTW, make sure you wear a "vest".

You can also go the wider front fender route. I am tucking +35 16x7 fronts with 205/55/16 R compound tires. Do I recommend this for everyone? No, but for me this is what I wanted. See sig for the look.

+44 with an extreme drop may rub depending on what your front camber is and what brand/size tires you go with. I would suggest staying over +50 fronts. Good luck.

That isn't always the answer - that will only allow for a slightly different offset - not any offset.

Most rubbing comes from tires anyway - stick a thinner tire in there and you'll have less rubbing.
