Something is wrong if the rears are gone is 6K. In three years I've never heard of anyone, no matter how fast or how slow they drive, wearing out rears like that. Something is wrong. You need another opinion from another dealer or another shop.

I got 5K on my first set of rears. The rear had 5/8" toe-in which was destroying the tires. Lowered the toe-in and the tires are wearing much better now. I now get 8K or so.

Factory specs are 1/4" toe-in, so your's was set at 150% more toe than was called for. That's my point.

I believe a lot of cars come from the factory with incorrect toe settings, dlq. Maybe Bridgestone has a kickback deal with Honda.

Seriously, every new S2000 should come with an alignment. My rears were quite low after 7K miles. After an alignment, and using the S-03s, I've got 13K miles and I'm only just starting to think about replacing them.
