Default Allignment specs needed for maximum wear possible

Excuse my ignorance, and I have searched, but can someone suggest allignment specs that would get the most life out of the tires? I have an 01 w/ stock suspension and S02s.

Thanks!

It would probably be dangerous, but you could just go with about a .25 degree camber and 0 toe all around. Would handle like crap. Tires would also last a long time if you just park it and take the bus.

Why would you want to do that. ESP. with stock suspention. It wouldn't handle good, plus it would look really bad. I have mine at 2.2 degrees of negative camber in the rear and stock settings in the front and it handles great. Also I am lowered 2".

Good thread is here:

Pretty much says what cdelena said above. Most of my miles are highway and the rears are wearing pretty evenly, so whatever alignment they are at is what I will stay with; I'm assuming they are at spec, but... My fronts are wearing a good bit on the inside, so I will probably go with 0 toe and a bit less camber. Some have mentioned that running a couple of pounds more air will help even the wear out.

Paul, the safest thing to do would be to have the alignment shop shoot for the low side (closest to Zero) of the stock specs. That way you're not giving away too much in the form of handling and safety just to get that little last bit of tire wear. Law of diminishing returns type deal, know what I mean?

With OEM settings, you can extend the life of the tires significantly by having the tires "rotated". Of course, you can't just dismount the wheels and rotate them, but you can have the tires dismounted from the rims, flipped over, and installed on the opposite side of the car. This will put the inside of the tire to the outside on the other side of the car rolling in the same direction.
