STOP CRASHING S2000
Working as an administrator at 5-major nation-wide auctions, and I swear it that there are 10-S2000 with the EXACT same damage. I could post pictures to prove so. All are rear end accidents where it looks like the rear end slipping out and caught a curb.
Its sad. I mean a lot of these S2Ks are not bought and go for a 2nd round because its not worth the purchase. Few of these S2000s have very minor hits, requiring just a bumper but more and more of these are turning out completely totaled. Almost not even worth parting out for yards.
i'll throw my opinion in on this.
The s2000- especially early, non-traction control equipped ones- become more affordable for younger, less experienced drivers, who have been raised on FRONT wheel drive cars. Now give them a ride with REAR wheel drive, on tires that are best reserved for a kiddy tire swing (cause they can barely afford the insurance), on a damp day, showing off to the girl across the street, or their friends.
Seems like a recipe for more crashed s2000's.
Imagine if Lambourghini Diablo's or Viper's cost only $15K on the used car market. Now, that would help thin the herd.

took the words right out of my mouth.
Yeah.. I have to agree with that. Lemme post some pics of current S2Ks with similar damages. Oh not to mention that 90% of these wont start anymore, I'm assuming there is some sort of engine damage. Oh p.s. we have an unhit S2000.. damage report says wont start. I took a look at it, no damage, then saw a picture of under the hood and saw a nice sized turbo
ah oh.
ah oh.
