Strange VIN number

My last 6 digits are 800126 - what's with the 8?? first time I've seen a VIN with the 8

It's a fake S2K?

All S2Ks made for the Canadian market have that 8.

That reminds me, my dealer was supposed to be researching the parts necessary to add DRL to my US S2k...

the Canadian RSX has a 800*** VIN number code also. It must be a Honda thing.
