Stripes?!

Hmm.. Anyone know of an s2000 with stripes? Im talking a couple of 8-10" wide stripes down the middle of the car, ala Vipers, or Cobras, and even some Miatas. I did a quick mockup in photoshop and kinda like them.. Im thinking a white stripes over my red paint. hmm.. ricey?

hey pellis, if you reaaly want stripes, I'll arrange to have a set cut for you with fully removable vunyl and you can try it out.

Try making them black, wider and closer together. That should produce a look closer to the "Cobra" appearance, and match the color of your top (better continuity).

You're the only other person that has thought of this to my knowledge. I'm planning the same mod.

Wider for sure, but im not sure about black.. silver maybe.. hmm..

If you wanted to be sort-of correct, make the strips about an 1 1/2in wider and White.

I did racing stripes on my old Blazer. The two vinyl stripes ran the length of the truck including the roof and rear fold down door. They cost me $60.00 installed. I would expect the S2000 to use alot less material. I would then expect the cost to be cheaper.

Try checking out this site. I never order from them but I use it as a guide to price compare against the guy I do use.

PS. The stripes do look nice, but I too would go a bit wider.
