Comptech sells one that requires no cutting of the air box whatsoever and is a simple drop in?

Why did mingster go through all the hassle of importing the JR air filters from France?

Does anyone here have the Spoon strut tower bar?

I'm considering getting it in mingster's group buy, but I'd like to hear from someone who has one, and hopefully see what it looks like installed.

Are there problems with it clearing the airbox or closing the hood?

How does it compare to the other options out there?

Thanks

Ted

I've got Spoon's strut bar and it works great for me! I like the finish too. The hood closes with no problem but you have to take the bar off when you change the air filter, yet I think that's the case with all of them. Got it thru Giampero's group buy; waiting now on the x-bar.

Some people don't like foam filters, which is what the Comptech is.
