Default Stuck in a rut. 362hp/216ft lbs

We changed out the exhaust headers to Toda, added a dual Amuse Ti cat back and a straight pipe. Added RC 750 injectors, bumped the timing 4 degrees, raised the redline up to 9300 rpm and added 100 octane fuel. We did loose one pound of boost from the last session that would account for about 15 hp.

The results of the modifications could definately be felt by the butt dyno and probably reflect the 50+ lb weight loss since the Dynos are virtually identical. Go figure?

My conclusion is the factory exhaust is just fine for making horsepower but heavy since I was able to reduce the weight by over 50 lbs.

Looks like the next step is to install the 9 lb boost pulley for 25 or 30 hp.

Very, VERY surprised here. I would've expected at least 5-10 WHP with your recent additions + race fuel.

Oh well...at least you lost some MAJOR weight, which has to count for something.

Thx for sharing.

With a supercharger if you increase the VE (make the motor more efficient) of the motor you will lose some boost but make about the same power or more. Its happens alot of supercharged V8's with ported heads.

What about going to a single outlet exhaust? (unless you're keeping the dual for asthetics like me)
