Default Stupid cones

I was on my way home on the 57 freeway at about 9pm and saw in the distance a traffic cone laying on its side. I'm 80% sure I dodged it but still not quite sure because my music was decently loud and I still have not had the time to inspect the S because of poor lighting conditions. I was just wondering if hitting something like this would be obvious in terms of feel and sound? Would I have felt it from inside the car? and would there have been a loud enough sound? I'm pretty sure those traffic cones have a lot of weight. Any type of input would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

If you ran it over, yes you would feel it.

Oh okay cool. Just wondering because I swerved during rush our to avoid it and I thought that possibly it might have scratched my car. Thanks for the reply!

Perfect, this is the type of info I was looking for. I was just worried if it would have slightly scratched my car because at those speeds it would definitely leave a mark even with the slightest contact. I have really bad experiences with items just left out in the freeway.. For example, a few months ago a truck in front of me threw out an empty water bottle and the cap area left a 4 inch scratch on my driver side panel underneath the s2000 badge. Luckily scratch x did the trick. Thanks for the reply! It really helped.

Sweet, I'm gonna inspect the car today since I have some good sunlight to work with. Thanks for the heads up!

Just a question out of curiosity and just wondering about other users' experiences. You can never be so sure when it comes to these things especially when you're like me and trying to keep the S in perfect condition lol. I'm just a little obsessed. Sorry if this thread wasted your time.
