Stupid cones
I hit a truck tire that had blown at some point (you see em all the times aside of the highway from semi) and was going 80 cause it was dark and by the time I saw it was too late. Made a huge smack and I thought my front bumper just got split in half. Pulled over and not a scratch somehow. A lil cone won't do anything.

Guys i have a serious situation going on here, i may or may not have hit a mosquito while driving and im very scared and confused. Lets gather all the techinal info we can on s2ki and figure out the next step to correct this disaster !
I was on my way home on the 57 freeway at about 9pm and saw in the distance a traffic cone laying on its side. I'm 80% sure I dodged it but still not quite sure because my music was decently loud and I still have not had the time to inspect the S because of poor lighting conditions. I was just wondering if hitting something like this would be obvious in terms of feel and sound? Would I have felt it from inside the car? and would there have been a loud enough sound? I'm pretty sure those traffic cones have a lot of weight. Any type of input would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.
IDK if you ever traded slightly grazed something or traded paint but at those speeds in the s2000 you are more likely to hear road noise than the actual contact because of the minor skid. There is in fact cracked paint on my front bumper so I believe this is a valid post and I did state my music was loud at the time but instead you would ignore the fact of that matter. All I'm asking is for people's input and past experiences with minor incidents and not your dumbass .02.
