Unforgiven,

I take it that the comment "used, no documentation" means you didn't get an owner's manual. In addition to the service manual, www.helminc.com (I think that's correct. It's something like that. They distribute manuals for Ford, Honda, Acura, and others, so google should find them) sells the owner's manual.

Also guilty of not knowing how the hell to open the gas-filler-upper door! I got so frustrated that I left and went home. Wife was in the car and was having a ball with it!!!

Congrats on your acquisition!

I bought my 2002 S2000 in May. I couldn't find the owners manual. I ordered the owners manual from Helms. After receiving the owners manual I was able to find the hidden compartment. When I opened it to my surprise the owners manual was inside of it...Now I have two..

Nope, just a statement. Unforgiven doesn't have a manual, so I couldn't direct it towards him

Since you have an '00 and have no documentation, you might be wise to check ALL fluids and consider getting them all changed. Check the VIN with a Honda dealer first to see if there is any record of maintenance servicing to the car. MY '00 is the ONLY one where the engine coolant needs to be changed by now. Have a look at the brake and clutch fluid - they could be really dark and yucky. Then there's the tranny and diff, too.
You know what they say about an ounce of prevention?

well just to make some feel better, mine was in the hidden compartment as well.

I am checking everything, and will probably have it all changed as well (better safe......)

thanks to all for the replies.
