Ya i am in northern VA as well and the rain is definitly annoyingm, but a good way to see if I have any leaks 
Either way I would love to keep my car in a garage but just not possible here. My parents have had many cars kept outside in this area for years and as long as you take care of the paint IE washing and waxing, things of that nature you can keep the paint looking great.

yeah i work out in fairfax. we just had a lunch meet on friday. you shoulda came out. we were already talking about having another one soon so keep an eye out.
