Good. Tires probably 30% left. They are a little above the wear indicator on the outside, and probably 40% on the inside. I was just looking at getting new tires this weekend but wanted to wait til next weekend since I am moving on Friday. Guess I should have done it yesterday... However, the front tires were sliding too. I think going from the dry road to the wet road made the car just lose traction. I have like 90% tread on the front tires. I mean the road was definately slick.

This is a classic lesson in the fact that the S is extremely fun to toy around with when you know what you're doing...however if you don't, stuff like this happens.

sorry to hear/see this happen...good to hear nobody got hurt though, that's really the important part. Cars can always be fixed. Let us know what the insurance company decides, good luck.

Ouch, glad you're ok but sorry about the car. What tires are you running? Were you driving aggressively?

i dont really think his driving ability has much to do with the outcome of this based on his story.

not every one is mario andretti and occasionally, "shit happens".

i doubt its totaled though. glad to hear the OP is fine

even if its not totaled I wouldn't want that car back. I'd push to have it declared a total loss. No car is ever the same after being repaired from damage like that.

I agree; I'd dump it and get a new one.
