Stupid is as Stupid does. Stupid
I don't see how he could have possibly been in danger of sucking up water by drifting the back end of his car into a puddle...maybe if he drove through the puddle, then I could see some stupidity. I'm not saying I would have done that, I would just stay away from the puddle and use the wet pavement for doing the donuts.
As for the other video, I don't see how that is stupid as well. The cameraman is far enough away to get out of the way in case of a car loosing control, which even if that happened, as it did, they weren't going fast enough for a major accident to happen. The road was obviously dead... that could have been at midnight, 2 a.m., etc. I know that doing that stuff on public roads is a no no and people often get their panties in a wad over it, but for all we know that could be the only place they can go to drift their cars like that, or maybe they just prefer that road. It did look quite fun to go around that circle.

I, too, kept thinking he'd hit the light pole, otherwise there's do be no reason to call him stupid...
When I was fifteen, doing doughnuts in the rain and the snow was one of the things I was told to do as part of learning to drive. And I'll have my son do the same. (He asked whether he can have the S when he turns 16, seven years from now. At that point it'll have somewhere around 250 or 300 thousand miles. Hmm... it's a Honda, but still...)

No one's in danger? Let's say he hits the pole, knocks it over and and some how drives away. Who pays for the repairs? You know he isn't going to. So the tax payers have to pay for his stupidity.
Now lets say the light pole had fallen across the street and this guy drives away. Now there is no light, a light pole across the road, and a huge puddle in the road. Some family drives by and hits the water because they can't see it, hydroplanes and kills the parents or kids. Possibly even hits the pole across the road.
You're right, no one has been put in danger by his stupid actions.

Not a big deal. I kept thinking he was going slam his rear end into that pole. Also, I think Driv300mph is the guy in the video:
