Anyone get as annoyed as i do with the water drops on the hood left by the windshield washer squirters? Is there some kind of fix for this?

Yep...
Just remove the reservoir and the lines and then nothing can squirt out and leave water spots.
Weight savings to boot.

When you think about the physics involved, really what else could you expect? Take a whiz on a wall from about twelve inches away and watch your shoes!

Actually there is...

Remove the lines from the OEM spray nozzles and then install another set of spray nozzles under the hood by the windshield.

This way the spray does not cross your hood.

I've seen it done and it works great.

simple mod too.

You don't take the OEM nozzles off the hood.......you leave them their for cosmetics...

You only disconnect the lines from underneath the hood and reconnect the lines to the actual nozzles that you installed in the new location.

I don't quite understand the issue. Living here in the Sun Belt, I rarely use the windshield washers. When I lived in Massachusetts, I would go through a couple of gallons per winter. They would be used when my windshield was covered with road salt, and grime, and I would hardly care about a couple of water spots.

The spots on the hood to care about are those that are dropped from high above by totally inconsiderate birds.
