Default suggestions?

i currently have the hks hi-power exhaust on my s2k, but it's way too quiet for my taste...any suggestions? also, i'm debating on a cold air intake (aem v2?) for sound and power, but mainly sound =)...any ideas on how good this intake is or if there are better ones?

T1R 70mm single is the best sounding 4 cylinder exhaust I've ever heard on a street car.

Unless we're dealing with stereos....

Anyway, I like the stock exhaust... because it's already paid for.

I got the K&N fipk intake. I love it. It comes with a nice heatsheild. I didnt want to risk getting a AEM V2 CAI and it sucking up water. The sound is very cool. Similar to when you take off the top of your intake box but louder. Makes a nice throaty growl/purr when you hit the throttle and it sounds like a charging elephant when it hits VTEC. I also have a Seibon MU style CF hood and theres two vents are directly above the intake. More cold air and more noise. Sweeeeet

I recently got a spugen single exhaust. It's pretty loud but it has a nice deep, even tone. I would have prefered the throaty growl/purr of a HKS or RSR exhasut but they're a little pricey. The spugen is loudest around 2-3k but once you hit VTEC the motor becomes louder than the exhaust.

With the intake/exhaust combo I did notice more mid range power around 4k. The rear wheels started breaking loose much sooner around turns. Sweeeeeet.

I did the K&N FIPK II and it sounds awesome when VTEC kicks in.
