Don't put it on jack stands, that's bad for the suspension. I'm guessing you don't have anyone you can trust the car to for six months?

Disconnecting the battery will disable your alarm system and also reset your radio code so make sure you have your radio code handy when you get back or esle you miss out on the fine sound system that the S comes equipped with
