Default Sun Visor removal anyone?

I'm 6-4, and when I owned my MR2 Spyder, there were visor screw covers available for those who wanted to remove the visors to create more "eye" room to help see those traffic lights when you're first in line. I was wondering if any of our vendors might have thought of this little mod? I don't use my visors at all and would gladly remove them if I could snap something in place to cover up the screw holes. In fact, for the Spyder, you could buy those covers engraved with either the Toyota logo or an MR2-S logo. It looked great and opened up the cockpit more than one would have imagined beforehand. I think they cost $12 a pair which included the engraving. Anyways...a thought. I know there are plenty of us taller drivers that would love to have that extra inch of visibility.

I took mine out and just put the screws back in. Looks fine to me.

Removing the visor won't give much additional room of any kind. I have the same problem (6'2"). I got a handy prism which allows you to see the light without having to duck. Check this:

I might just remove my visors and see what it looks like with the screws put back in place. Right now, I use a small, round mirror which rests in the slot behind the cup holder and when I'm idling directly under a suspending light, I'll reach for the mirror and just hold it around the shift knob and angle it towards the window and I can see the lights in the mirrors reflection. PITA though. lol
