Drivewear Lenses

Check out this link to a thread I started in "Off Topic" a while back. I've been using Drivewear prescription lenses in a Rayban frame for about 6 months and I love them. I daily drive my S2K and have no problem seeing the instruments.

The Drivewear lens is really hi tech. They are polycarbonate, change tint and color in response to light conditions and unlike anything else on the market, they will even respond to light behind a windshield because they are triggered by UV and visible light. They are also polarized.

This is the most comfortable lens for the eyes that I have ever used. They are designed for use in a car and really make contrast pop so everything is easier to see.

The lens and frame cost me a bit more than $500.

I've got my prescription polarized Gascan S from SI (military only), my eyes are really sensitive to brightness and I ALWAYs have my lights on. I hold the + button, put on my glasses, take off the hardtop and I'm good to go. I was also able to see fine with my Ray Bans (non-polarized)

I used to buy expensive sunglasses when I was younger (and dumber) but my polarized BJ's specials work as good as any others I've tried. And I don't feel so bad if I sit on them or lose them.
