Sunglasses
Polarized lenses partially block LCD screens, and the cluster as well.
You can test if this is the issue: Rotate the glasses and see if you can see the cluster better or not.
Unpolarized lenses will not cause any issues. I have no issues with my neither my Maui Jim, nor the Ray Ban.

They're also very tough - wore mine in Iraq for the year that I was there, and they're still 100%.

i just noticed that when im driving with the top down when its sunny that my sunglasses get such bad glare that i cant see the digital cluster. ive tried two different glasses too, anyone have the same problem?
Here's another vote for Drivewear. I have absolutely no problem viewing my S2000 dash, the polarization does create a bit of a vague pattern in the side windows but the windshield is fine. The overall experience is very comfortable and, especially with the top down, extremely clear, strain free vision.
I need bifocals, I got prescription Drivewear lenses with progressive(no line)bifocals and pretty nice metal aviator frames from 39dollarglasses.com, shipped for less than $170.
