True, assuming the amount of cooling (gain) exceeds the amount of restriction (loss).

In a system with only 6psi this may not be much of an increase. On hot days however, it may result in less loss and less damage potential.

The intercooler ought to let you turn up the wick a bit too. (more boost)

I think that if Comptech really thought they required an intercooler, they would have built it into the kit and adjusted accordingly. They don't seem to care about retail pricing (look at the NSX's SC cost) so I don't think their excluding the intercooler was to make a less expensive kit (eg. <$5000).

Time and time again I interact with Comptech and see what a quality establishment they are... so if they didn't include an intercooler, it didn't need it. Period.
