From a bunch of different discusssions I have understood one thing:
Supercharger may give a little less speed, but it does not place as much stress on the car. The Turbocharger really pushes on the car, therefore making parts wear out faster then they are supposed to.

I don't know if you can necessarily make a blanket statement like that.

The car is only pushed as hard as you choose to push it.
You sir are firmly in control of such things.

The answer to this question really depends on what you are looking for. Superchargers tend to give quicker response than a turbo because it reaches speed faster (spools faster), but a turbo can turn a A LOT higher RPM. So you can get better top end out of the turbo and better low end out of the s/c (theoretically because I know there are a lot of variables you can adjust). I would go with S/C, if nothing else...it's easier doing the install.
