The only difficulty I'm finding now is an unpleasant gasoline smell coming from under the hood.

I notice the smell usually at start up and after a drive such as a trip down the freeway and then stopping at the exit ramp I get a whiff of gas. The new fuel pressure regulator should be in tomorrow. We'll see.

For example and high rpm drops once you are SC'ed will be murder for the already crappy stock clutch - so do you guys think it is a wise bet to upgrade your clutch before or at the same time as your SC install.

My solution for the gasoline smell: Limburger Cheese

Just tape a brick of it to the frame crossmember below the Paxton blower... let the engine heat up a bit...

No More Gasoline Smell!

BTW, I have about 3000 miles on my SC and I have had no gasoline smell (after I tightened the gas line to the fuel rail properly)

Tasty!

Actually have it at the dealership where I had the SC installed (Acura place that does alot of Comptech and esp. NSX work) as they are subbing out a little minor body work for me.

Asked them to give fuel lines et al the once over (as well as the plugs after I read that thread).

If all is OK, guess I'm off to the deli to try and make that smell (hehe).

Got my car back from having the body work done. My dealer did check out the SC and fuel system.

No ususual problems causing "the smell" (fuel line, pump, regulator ok). Dealer called Comptech though which is "aware" of the fuel smell issue and told dealer they are working on a fix.

Not sure I care as long as nothing is wrong (and I dont get asphyxiated).

Plugs were all tight and ok btw.

I hadn't ever had a fuel smell until yesterday (10,000 miles on SC). It went away today, but just thought I'd chime in.
