Supercharger and overheating?
I'm thinking of getting the Comptech supercharger and have a few questions for those who seriously track their cars. I bought the car to track it and I'm curious how this will hold up.
1) Has anybody experienced overheating with the supercharger in place? Anybody know thier H2O temps on a hot day at the track?
2) Does anybody know thier oil temp with the charger at the track?
Thanks in advance

I track (autocross) but have only done 2 events since putting in the SC. The temps are not any worse out at the track than on the street.
The exhaust temp has taught me a lot about the car. The exhaust temps get hot usually when you cruise at one speed, especially on the highway. When you're driving normally, they go up and down; it's the steady speeds that make the car hot.
I've experienced up to 1,400 degrees F in normal driving (even racing), and my peak was 1,500 F crusing steady at 135 MPH. Everyone seems to think this is a high number, but Comptech cannot agree or disagree as they are not monitoring exhaust temp in their car (at least not when I called them).
