Supercharger Update
Just got the new Comptech check valve. The hesitation seems to be gone although I only drove the car about 15-20 minutes. I'll keep everyone updated.
For anyone who is interested, I've now got 11,500 miles on my car, 4500 supercharged, and with the exception of the hesitation, which is now gone, I've had no problems.
Clutch is stock and working perfectly as is the differential. I'll be happy to keep posting my long-term test results.

I've had the new Comptech check valve setup (with the "Y" connection and the block-off plate) for about 2 weeks now... Hesitation is GONE. I've tried and tried and tried to make it happen, but it seems to be solved. All the other "standard" check valve upgrades would work for 2-3 days and then fail. This one has not failed. It seems moving it away from the throttle body has worked. The car has been running excellent and its very quick! I've gone through about 4-5 different check valves.
Based on my experience, I think you'll be pleased with it.
I know I am.

Seriously, email me off-line and i'd be more than happy to hook up.
But I warn you....you will want one really, really bad!!
