Supercharging my S2000

Top speed would be dependent on gearing. I think the top of 6th is achieveable with a stock motor, so the top speed would be the same unless you made changes to the gears.
true true true
I disagree stock hp will not get you to the top of stock gearing.Well unless you have 20 or so miles of open road.If my memory serves me correctly stock s2000 gearing ar redline in 6th gear would be about 168 mph.I think a stock s will only do @ 150mph.As far as how fast a sced s2k is.Look at sideways sced s2k he has about 440hp at the wheels and regularly beats up on vipers and the like. of course he probably has $10-15k or more in his sc setup and i think he runs 14psi or so.How deep are your pockets?
My SC car runs faster top end as well as gets there faster. I have ran it on a track before and after and the SC made a huge difference. I smoke M3's at the autocross. Keep in mind my car is my05 (more low end juice). Do it and u will love it. Comptech website has dyno's.

wow, people really get upset when someone asks about supercharging, even if you dont race, i think having 300 rwhp would be awesome. and handing an M3 his ass wouldnt be bad either.
That being said, asking a hypothetical (and pointless, IMO) questions such as, "How can I beat a XXX" or "How much will it take to beat a XXX" are annoying and frankly immature. I feel like I'm listening to a bunch of high school kids who saw "Gone in 60 Seconds" one too many times.
If you want to SC, that's fine. If you want to ask a question about SC, that's fine too. However, don't be surprised if people get annoyed on HOW the question is asked. If you want to SC just to beat an M3, how long-lived will that rush be? How intelligent is that train of thought? Now, if one asks, "I do a lot of track events and I would like some more power on the straights..." or something along those lines...the responses may be less sarcastic.
Just an observation, of course.

. Seriously though, I'd have to save up a bit of courage to top out my car
.
