I just installed my supersprint exhaust and I am having trouble with alignmet. The left muffler sticks out more than the right. Has any one gotten them to align correctly and how? Also What did you use for a gasket.

My friend has the exhaust. We installed it, but took to to the muffler shop to have them bend the hangers a little to align it.

However, if you have one side sticking out more than the other, you need to unclamp the piping and push the muffler in more on the side that sticks out. It is difficult but if you have enough clearance, just use a twisting motion and it will push in further.

 

This happened to me too. try to align one side then loose the bolt of the other side and move it until both looks symmetrical then tight the bolt.

 

I think this guy also might have fixed the problem in 4 and a half years.. Or sold the car.. You really like old threads, don't you?
