Hey Dave,

Fortunately, I didn't get a single ding out of the storm. Of course, I don't have any fingernails left after chewing them down to the nub while I was trapped inside waiting it out, but the car's fine.

Nice to know about the "ding shop" though. Hope I never have to use them!

Glad you got away with that one!

About 15 years ago, Germany had a freak hailstorm of golf ball size. Sadly, some people were killed. I saw a Civic and some other cars. They must've been VW Golf balls.

There was no way on Earth Dentmaster could've repaired those - they looked like Swiss cheese!

About 7 years ago I was in Germany and had a car that got caught in a hailstorm. To this day, it was the worst storm I have ever seen- it even flooded my apartment, and I lived on the top floor .

Anyway, I didn't think anything of the hail storm as I had no concept of hail damage, but the next day someone recommended that I check my car. I did and found about 40 hail dings in the car. I got almost $1200 out of it and paid off my car. The really funny thing was that since the car was on a government installation, the government paid the insurance deductible. Don't ask me why, they just did.

Dave and Stephen,

Glad to hear you guys escaped the hail storm without any damage . Yeah, my fiancee called me at work and told me there was hail coming down in some areas. I was glad I drove the Integra and left the S2000 in the garage that day.

BTW, I came up behind a silver/black yesterday on Gaskins Rd. Don't know who it was, but he was bald and had a female passenger.

About 2 years ago, I got "caught" in a hail storm on 66 near Centerville..........It sucked! Scary as all hell.....It dented my Integra all up. They were the size of ice cubes, and I thought my windows were going to break. I had just sent pictures to Import Tuner mag a couple of days earlier.

Estimate was over 2g to repair....I was on a waiting list to have it repaired, and then the car got stolen 2 weeks later and totaled.

Thats life!
