KG/MM and stock shocks were an awesome setup and are a great value. Handling was a lot more predictable than the stock setup--stiffer springs provided more feedback and reduced recovery times when the car got sideways. Tein RA is a hell of a lot better for the track, but for the street, KG/MM DR21s kicked ass.

I have the TEIN FLEX with EDFC installed on my car currently. I can tell you that on full stiff they are far from soft and a great improvement over the stock setup! I also highly recommend the EDFC. It allows for three presets to be stored in memory. I have one for daily driving/highway miles, one for autocross and a third for all out track use!

People that do not like the FLEX system are the same people that hate all other TEIN products and feel only the German companies can make a good suspension.

Unless you plan on ONLY using the car for autocross or track use, then this IS the system for all others.

Cool,

Does it give your car a drop too? How about when you put it at soffest, how is it compared with stock?

I installed my Tein Flex 3 days ago. I first drove them on the stiffest setting and it was awful, I now have them on setting 6 out of 16 (16 being the stiffest) and it is just slightly stiffer than stock. I need to get a alignment on monday and hopefully she will handle better. Right now my rear camber is way out.

On the softest setting I would say that it drives very similar to stock, but with a smoother ride. Mainly because the system is so much better than stock at tracking the road. Where the stock system would struggle with roads that were excessively bumpy, especially in the curves, this system will still throw you around, but at least the tires stay planted. Hope that makes sense to you.

Put the system at mid stiffness and you will find it stiffer than stock but still streetable for the hard core enthusiast.

Full stiff, well...I live in Las Vegas and lets just say I would not make a road trip to L.A. with this setting unless I had a bag to piss the blood in. It will jolt you around if the road is not perfect!!! But...this setting rocks in the twisty mountain roads. i will have my first real test at the Autocross tomorrow!!!

By the way. i always set the rear 2 to 3 clicks softer than the front to allow the ass to dig in just a fraction longer before giving away. It also tends to make that break away of the ass end a little more gradual rather than the typical you shit I am facing the wrong direction scenario.

Forgot to add that I dropped the ride height 1.5" in the front and 1.75" in the rear.
