I was thinking about lowering my car, and everyone seems to be getting lowering springs only. Now on my Si, I had Tanabe Sustec full coilovers because I wanted to avoid having to buy new shocks eventually if I just got springs. My question is: how long will the stock shocks last if I just get a 1.5" drop? If Im gonna have to buy new shocks soon, then Ill just scrap the whole idea. Or will the shocks be fine since the car already sits low from the factory? And if they'll be fine, who would be a decent spring manufacturer to consider? Any help would be appreciated.
