Default Suspension recommendations (please)?

(NOTE - I accidentally posted this in the "Under the Hood" area first - sorry for the double post.)

Hi everybody,

I"m new here, I've only posted an introduction so far. I've got an crystal clean, VERY low miles 2000 in Silverstone/black that I absolutely love.

I need urgent advice:

What suspension set up comes with the highest recommendation for a 50/50 street/track car? Currently, I have Rays TE37s (17s) and BF Goodrich G-Force KD (255/40). Engine is relatively stock (for now!).

Money is no object (to a reasonable extent), but the products do need to be readily available in the US market.

Any ideas? I'm searching past posts as well...

Thanks guys!
Dave

The KW's are highly spoke of in the racing and competition forum. If dough is no object, the Moton Club Sport is a very good damper. The JRZ is a top notch racing damper. If your on a lower budget, the Bilstein PSS9 is a very decent damper.

the setup i'm leaning toward is ground control w/ koni's. dont have any plans to track, mainly street driven. This setup has had really good feedback from those who have it and it's very well priced. But if u want to go w/ a full blow coilover set then be prepared to spend a good chunck of change.

Thanks for the replies... It's definitely gonna spend time on the track, so I do think coilovers are in order.

It's certainly oversteers a lot, even under power, which is unusual. Can't figure that one out! It's certainly not power-sliding, given the mountain of torque and all!

Curious, though - For KW, what's the diff between Variant 2 and Variant 3? I can't see any...

Thanks,
Dave
