Just wondering what everyone thinks of Suzuka Blue. To me, photos don't do is justice. You have to see it in person. At first, silverstone was in my heart, but now????????? Any thoughts? Photos?
I guess I'd have to say that I'm indifferent to it. I don't mind the blue interior, but I'd never own a Suzuka myself. My *own* opinion is that it is a very subtle, almost feminine colour that doesn't work too well with my personality. Other than that, it's a great colour; likely very easy to keep clean. Great pearl finish too, which is not unlike most other Honda OEM colours.

If you look closely at suzuka, you'll notice tiny flecks of darker color, very similar to Silverstone. I think the extra texture does wonders for the lines of the car. Suzuka is an excellent color.
My first preference was Silverstone on Red, or Red on Black, but my dealer only had a Suzuka Blue on order. Wife said to just take it so I did. I thought just like mucho, Macho, VTEXTC, but a funny thing happened. Took it to some autoxes - hmmm not to many females there - just a bunch of guys who REALLY use their cars - guess which color many of them seem to dig. Must be something in the water makes us autocrossers a bit feminine.
My other car is a Dakar Yellow M3 :-)
Here's the deal, in one year not one person has told me that it looks feminine - construction workers in F150's have even complemented the color - hardly the feminine type. This thing pulled more complements (from both sexes - specifically on the color) in one month than my M has pulled in 6 years. To bad I actually picked the color of the M and didn't want this one - tells a lot about my taste.
Slightly easier to keep clean than yellow - but just as unspectacular when dirty.
Thanks........Beautiful car Chazmo. I appreciate your response. I guess like I read in another post.......There is much more to this car to love than just the color.
You bet, Steve... and that was bone stock, before I bought my gunmetal rims!
I was worried that the blue would get "old," Steve, particularly the interior. Not at all! I was also considering Sebring silver with red interior, which is an interesting combo.
Anyway, the car is really something, Steve. Hope you do it!
