Suzuka Blue???
Suzuka Blue is, of course, the most understated color of the S2000 bunch.
The Blue Bullet. The Blue Angel. The Blue Bomber. The Blue-by-you automobile. This car with this color is under-the-radar stealthy cool. It will not stand out in the sea of colors from far away, but people tend to walk up to get a closer look to see what the hell this beautiful automobile is. They tip their sunglasses over their noses to really check it out. (...And I get this even from snobby Marin-types who have seen it and done it with their fancy foreign cars...)
When I park my Suzuka at night in a crowd of cars, it does not stand out as much, therefore it won't attract as much attention. The odds are greater that someone will not pick it out of the crowd to mess with it. Not saying that no one will ever mess with it, just that I like my odds with Suzuka.
The Blue interior is perfect for the Suzuka. No other color would look right. Even black. Black would overpower the exterior. That's why Honda chose blue. Honda chose the black interior with the Monte Carlo Blue because that blue is darker.
You may hear, "it's not a traditional racing car color like yellow, red, black, or even the traditional racing car color of Japan- white". Under the hood, we're all the same.
You may even hear a comment, "it's a wimpy color", or "it's feminine", but like I said: under the hood, we're all the same.
Blue is easy to maintain. You do not see the dust as much. It looks clean, even when it has some dust on it. And yes, Suzuka Blue metallic can appear to be holographic, changing hues in different shades of light. It's amazing. If you use Zaino or Meg's or any other quality wax, the clear-coated paint really stands out and is remarkable!
Finally, ALL the colors in the S2000 line look great. It just depends on what your personality type is, and what role you want to play in the band of S2000 colors: whether you want to stand out and be the lead singer, (Yellow) play lead guitar (Red) be the keyboardist (Silver and White) or sit back and be the rhythm section - be the bassist (Suzuka/MC Blue) or the drummer (Black).
It is a very special color; it is rare and after a year of ownership, I have the same feelings about it just as I did on the first day I bought it. It doesn't get old.

It came down to blue or yellow. I asked a friend. She listened and a smile crossed her face when I mentioned the blue leather. Then she said with her light English accent, "blue leather is so sexy." 3 hours later (I had to, um, take care of some, er...business, nudge, nudge) I was at the dealership in Milwaukee staring at my new Suzuka Blue S. I haven't had any regrets. It's a rare color on a unique car.
On a completely different note, I was thinking: my Dad bought a 1968 metallic blue t-top Vette at the same point in his life---during his surgical residency. Is this a case of Nurture or of Nature? Or did he know a persuasive English chick into blue leather too? In any case the nut doesn't fall far from the tree.
So, Suzuka owners, whether you're the nut or the tree or even the son of a nut near a tree, don't apologize for this terrific color!

I got suzuka blue and i was first worried that it would be TOO MUCH BLUE. but after having the car, i would NEVER get any other color! THe car looks so good with dark tinted windows and the black top !WOW i LOVE THE CAR!
I just got mine today and it's the first time I've seen this color in person. All I can say is I LOVE THIS COLOR! I've been shopping for an 02' and my color choices were: 1. silver/red 2. suzuka 3. yellow. The main reason I added suzuka to the list was when I saw the inerior. First thing I said was "Ooooohhhhhh, blue interior". Well, the right car came along at the right time and I got it. For as sweet as the silver/red is, I'm glad I went with suzuka. It sure is different.
Process of elimination:
Yellow: too bright, catches a lot of eyes; good and bad!
White: Prevoious car was white. Special only with red int.
Black: High maintenance.
Silvers: Very popular color for a lot of cars. I try to not follow pop.
Red: My second choice. Like a lot!
Blue: different, new for the year, first choice.
