I have a deposit down on a S2000 and the dealer just called and said a Suzuka Blue is due in next week--I have not seen this blue in person-- What does it look like? --Generally I am a red/black/silver kind of sports car color guy--- any opinions?

i say go check it out. i've only seen Suzuka Blue twice in person since it came out.

it was enough for me to order my very own last Thursday.

 

I posted a few pics of my new Suzuka Blue 2002 at http://www.photobert.com/s2000. I called all over to find a Suzuka Blue - they're not easy to find. Everyone has their preferences - some like it and some don't, but I can't imagine a better color. (the actual color is darker than the pictures indicate (depending on your monitor))

 

It's GORGEOUS ! -- One of the key reasons I even got an S2K ! - pics don't do it justice- go take a look yourself. Rare & awesome!

Don't let the blue interior scare you, it's much better in person. At first I thought it was too light but after seing it in person I had my money down for one instead of black

 

Only one I've seen was at the annual car show in Houston earlier this year. The Suzuka blue looks very good on the S2k. In interior blue matches the exterior pretty closely and looks OK. I think I might prefer a contrasting color of some kind on the interior, depending on what it was but as is, the blue compliments the S2k nicely. I'm only a wannabe S2k owner and probably will be for a while but the Suzuka blue is very high on my list!

Like others have said, blue looks much better in person. I originally ordered yellow but switched when both colors arrived the same day.
