On left is Laguna blue. To the right is Suzuka blue.

But to answer OP's question, it's a personal call. I went against Suzuka with blue interior - thought it was too blue for me. Now, if you have a Suzuka with black interior, I'd probably go with that. Can't go wrong with any S though!

As noted if you don't like the blue interior you can go for an 06 and get mostly black interior.

Blue interior pieces on my car stock:

Seats
Carpet
Floor mats

That's it. The dash, center console, roll hoops, doors, etc. are all black. I've since added Clazzio black seat covers so the only blue left is in the carpet and floor mats.

The exterior color itself was not my first choice but also not my last. It's very easy to keep clean or at least decent looking with minimal upkeep. The previous two cars I owned were black and dark blue, and both were a nightmare to keep looking nice. Suzuka has grown on me and it looks REALLY good at night/under fluorescent lighting.

When we were looking for an s2000, my wife wouldnt let us get a suzuka blue because she thought it was a girly color. She kept calling it periwinkle. I ended up getting a berlina black, which i love. It isnt my daily driver though and stays in the garage when the weather is bad.

It's all personal preference but I like mine. Most people dislike the interior but when you think about it most high performance vehicles have a pretty bright interior on them such as the Ford GT90

Probably not the best example since it was a concept car but it was the only one I remember with blue interior off the top of my head.

The light blue is Suzuka. The dark blue is Laguna Seca.

Thanks for the help guys. All of your cars look amazing! I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the blue one. The owner is also gonna include aem and that's worth $1000.

I like the blue. I don't see those as much as I see the black S2000 around here. Good pick!
