Heres another thing I like about Suzuka Blue lol...I had missing paint and used touch up. A car had clipped the rear bumper before I bought it from the previous owner and took some paint off that was about 4-5 inches going up and down...

Get a BB one, because Suzuka Blue sucks!

if you can keep it detailed and clean, BB (and all black cars in general) will always look the best. there's no other color that can give the same amount of contrast when light reflects off it like a clean black car. in general, the darker the color, the more reflection will show when clean (contributing to that mirror-like reflection), so with black, you've gone as dark as possible.

like everyone has said though, ONLY if you can put in the time and effort to keep it clean. if you don't, it will look horrible.

I am very much a fan of the darth vader look. There's no S2K more sinister looking than a blacked out one IMO.

With that being said, I prefer suzuka blue over berlina black. All of the neutral colors for the S (GPW, SSM, Sebring, BB) are just that, neutral looking (this coming from a sebring owner lol). But suzuka blue looks so good on the S. It's different, yet subtle and clean at the same time.

Whatever color you ultimately get, the bottom line is you'll be driving an S2K, so you'll be a winner no matter what. Good luck with finding your S.

Always had a thing for Suzuka Blue, it's unique and not too many people have them so its not "played out"

I had a choice of any color when I bought mine new in '03. I chose Suzuka for the following reasons:
  • Rare color in my area
  • Hides scratches, dirt, and imperfections. (Important to an autocrosser)
  • Did not like an all black interior. The blue with black details is more interesting.
  • Blue is my favorite color. Would have considered Laguna had it been available.
  • Knew I was going to keep it a long time and didn't want a flashy or trendy color I would lose interest in.

10 years later and I'm still happy with my choice!
