Default Switching out windshield wiper blades

Is there a trick to doing this? No matter how I pull, can't seem to get the old windshield wipers out to put in the new ones. Must be something I'm not seeing.

So you are pushing on the plastic tab on the wiper and pushing towards the windshield right? Just wanted to eliminate the obvious first.

If you are doing that then maybe a slight wiggle while pushing to break it free.

Yes, I am trying to put in refills.
I tried squeezing the metal tabs at the end to slide out the blades, but its not budging.

Don't run wiper blades. $0

Put some rainx on that and watch the water bead away!
