Switching Trunks

In response to everything. Trunk swap was a piece of cake. Defn need two people though, three is even better, But bolts come off, swap lock assemblies(only 4 bolts hold it together), and just detach the lock assembly from the power trunk release(1 plastic clip surrounding a metal rod) and then reinstall. The springs were a bit of a hassle but still all you needed is a screwdriver to give you leverage when rotating the springs to remount them.

Thanks for the spoiler! Looks great. It'll be nice to see what a sebring looks like with the wing.

bump..jus wondering if its really this easy to switch trunks i was thinking about getting another trunk with a spoiler for track use. i dont know if i really want to drive around with a big spoiler around town normally couldnt take the criticism haha

Back from the dead....

It was really easy to do. It took like 30 minutes in a parking lot with a few hand tools. Hardest part is aligning them up correctly. And its a bit annoying to reinstall the bolts for the key hole. If you're hardcore about the track, and by installing a spoiler for the track then I'd assume you are, as it probably wouldn't make a difference for most people, then it shouldn't be any harder than installing a set of race brake pads. Although you should do it with another person as the last thing you want to do is drop your trunk and scratch your paint along the fenders.
