Default T1R Test Pipe question

I plan on purchasing the T1R test pipe tommorow and I just needed a question to be answered first before I do.

The T1R test pipe is 70mm I believe. I currently have an Invidia with 2.5 inch (63mm) piping. Is having the larger test pipe going to cause a problem (I wouldn't think 7mm would make much of a difference).

Also, it won't have any problems hooking up to my exhaust now right?

Thanks

Spec_ops, I have the T1R testpipe on my car with an HKS that is also 2.5" like your invidia and it fits fine. I wasn't even aware that the testpipe was 70mm

Make sure you get the 63mm version of the T1R testpipe, DO NOT bolt a 70mm to a 2.5" catback. Doing so would cause a lot of turbulence in your exhaust flow.

ah, so they do sell 2 different sizes?

I was under the impression they only had one -- although I never did ask that question.

Ok... I have not installed my T1R test pipe yet but how would I be able to tell which one I have? If it helps I have an RSR cat back exhaust.

um maybe by measuring the inlet or outlet of the pipe?

There is both a 63mm test pipe and a 70mm pipe.
