Default Tail Light Modification

I was looking around the galley and noticed that some of the pictures had diffrent parts ofthe tail lights that light up.

The circular rings in my tail-light is only a reflector. I saw some picture of MY00-03 where they light up. I'm not sure if this was a modification or just a lighting effect when the photo was taken.

MY04 has a ring when turned on.

Is there any modification that we can do to light up the ring section of the tail lights?

I don't believe the circular rings around the tail lights on MY02-03s light up or can be modified to light up. I think you're just seeing the reflection

It's the reflection of the camera's flash.
