Hi,

I was doing the tail light conversion today, after I hooked up the tail lights, the signal light and the brake light lit up okay. So I unplugged them to bolt the tail light into place. Then after a while, they stopped lighting up. What could be wrong?

I thought I might have overlapped the wires so that the fuse blown, but the fuse was fine.

Please help me.

update: the license plate light also doesnt light up now. But it did light up when I first try the tail lights.

 

Did you modify the bulbs and sockets like the FAQ conversion thread: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=183447

 

I didn't have to modify sockets since I bought the tail lights from Hardtopguy.com, however, I did look at that website. I wouldn't have messed up if I didn't have to pull the wires out of the original sockets. I don't know what to do now. The headlights work fine though.
