Take out the soft top or leave it in?
So I just recently got a Forbidden USA CF Mugen replica. Love it to death. Fitment is kinda off right now but that's cause my buddy that was helpping me with the install messed up the window trim weatherstripping pretty bad and mom threw away the rear trim (probably shouldn't have left it laying on top of the garage trash can) so I got the best I could from Home Depot. Going to order more from spyder but I'm really low on funds right now..

Anyway, I'm making a hoist for the top so I don't really need the soft top anymore. How much wieght would I save taking it and the motors out and would there be a noticable difference on the track?

i am in the same boat since my top got slashed...thinking of getting his oem replica and just gutting the soft top but part of me wants to be able to put the top up when it gets too hot or rains or something like that if i ever go top down.
i think they say its about 75lbs for the soft top assembly
